We’re happy to share with you this simple logo design presentation with 3D storefront mockup. We’ve been using a variation of this logo design presentation with great success for years in our logo design services business, only difference being that we’ve also used various other mockups to fit our projects. But with the current mockup you can easily use it for various projects that can have a physical location, like: fashion related projects, stores, agencies, law and finance businesses, real estate offices, hotel, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and more.
What’s so great about this design presentation is that it’s simple, straightforward and it has everything you need to present a simple logo design project:
- It shows the logo in it’s original colours – the big logo on the left side of the presentation.
- It shows the logo in reversed colours, to be used on dark backgrounds – in the central part of the presentation.
- It shows the logo in one colour – black and white – being a mandatory feature for any logo design that it should work great in black and white. This is place in the central part of the presentation, right below the reversed logo.
- It shows a realistic representation of the logo in a real life environment, in this case, the reversed logo is shown on our 3D Logo Mockup on Storefront Wood Beams.
- And as a bonus, on the left side of the presentation you have a section that includes the logo of the designer and the option to name your draft. The logo of the designer is a nice touch to have in your drafts and the naming of the drafts makes it easier to follow on feedback, in case the names of the drafts’ files get changed.
We’ve found this simple logo design presentation quite useful along the years, especially for clients that are logo design projects that are quite straightforward – like online businesses, beauty salons, simple stores etc. – or for logo vectorization projects where we can quickly send a preview to the client, before setting up the deliverables.
How to use this simple logo design presentation with 3D storefront mockup
As with the rest of our design presentations (and also mockups), we’ve aimed to make this design presentation as easy to use as possible and without having to waste a bunch of time on it. It will most likely take you a lot more time to read these instructions that to use the design presentation, but I think it’s important that we write it down so you have a guideline that will help you understand it.
Here’s how this design presentation works, covering the sections from left to right, starting with the designer’s logo and the draft name:
- On the small section from the left side you will have the possibility to name your draft using the Text layer available there. The font used here is Myriad Pro, being available on mostly any OS, but you can easily replace it with another one that fits your brand. On this section you will also have a smart object layer called “CREATOR LOGO – Replace“, which you’ll use to replace our logo with your personal logo.
- Coming next you will have the main logo, where you should place the logo design you’ve made for your client, in it’s original colours. This can be replaced using the smart object layer called “Replace Original Logo“.
- Next, in the central part of the presentation you will find the reversed logo – the logo in the colours meant for dark backgrounds. In most cases, that means replacing the dark colours in your logo (black, dark gray, dark blue/red/green etc.) with white. In this section you will have to place that version of the logo in the smart object layer called “Reversed + Mockup 3D Logo“. Yes, the same logo will also be used automatically on the 3D mockup, so take that into consideration. In this section you will also have the option to replace the black background of the reversed logo with the dark colour that is present in your logo design. To replace the background colour, use the shape layer called “Change REVERSED BG“.
- Next, below the reversed logo you will find the one color/black and white logo. As standard, this layer will automatically use the logo you’ve used as the reversed logo, and place a black color overlay on it. In case your black and white logo has a different style/shape/layout to fit a one colour format, hide the “B&W Logo” layer and show the “B&W Logo (if different layout/style than reversed)”, and place your dedicated version of the logo inside that smart object layer.
- Last, we have the 3D mockup presentation. Here you don’t have to do anything because, as mentioned in the reversed logo section, this logo will automatically update with your reversed logo and have 3D effects applied on it.
That’s it! Now you export it as a JPG or PNG file and send it to your clients for feedback. Applying your own logo design project on this design presentation should take 1-2 minutes, sometimes even less than a minute.
Another great thing about this simple logo design presentation is it’s liniar landscape layout that can be easy to follow on PCs, laptops and other big devices, while also looking great on mobile, in landscape mode. Being able to preview projects from any device is a great benefit for both you and your clients.
As an overview, with the help of our simple logo design presentation with 3D storefront mockup you can easily create professional presentations for your logo design projects. In 1-2 minutes you can add your own personal logo, name the draft, place your logo design project in various forms and have a 3D presentation automatically applied inside the presentation. Then you can quickly export it and send it to your clients, which will be able to preview it from any device, thanks to it’s liniar landscape layout. Enjoy it!
